FORCE Cancer Charity has appointed Kate Few-Singh as its new chief executive.

She will take over from Meriel Fishwick, who leaves at the end of October after 34 years with the Exeter-based charity, which supports local people affected by cancer.

Mrs Few-Singh has more than 20 years’ experience working in the healthcare charity sector, for both national and local charities including Sue Ryder and Hospiscare.

Christmas may be months away but FORCE Cancer Charity is ready to get you into the yuletide spirit by taking bookings for this year’s Santa Cycle and Cruise.

The festive two-wheeled jaunt takes place on Sunday November 24.

Riders can choose from the traditional Topsham to Exmouth route or there is the option to cycle in the opposite direction.

Early birds will pedal six miles from the University of Exeter’s Topsham Sports Ground to Exmouth along the beautiful Exe Estuary Trail, starting at 9:15am....
