The Holt Exeter is brewing an extra-special event with its first Beer Festival

Fancy a pint? Well, this weekend (7th-9th August) there are over twenty guest ales - plus the standard six on tap - at The Holt’s very first beer festival. With beers and ciders from some of the South West’s very best independent breweries, your new favourite pint is just waiting to be discovered!

Located by Cathedral Green, The Holt is an independent pub in the heart of Exeter. Owned by the same family behind The Holt, Honiton and the award-winning Otter Brewery, it is safe to say that they certainly know a thing or two about what makes a delicious Devon pint!  Whether it’s your first sip of Shingle Bay from Salcombe Brewery, Powderkeg’s Speak Easy or a firm favourite, like Otter Black, visitors can enjoy a taste of the South West with beers from local breweries including Dartmoor and Hanlons alongside cider makers such as Hunts, Sandford Orchards and Courtneys.

And to top it all off, throughout the beer festival customers can relax to live music from local artists or savour the moment a little longer with The Holt’s irresistible food menu, including Hot Dog Festival specials.  Great food, great atmosphere and, of course, a great pint in hand - is there a better way to spend the entire weekend?

The beer festival is running from midday and will finish at 11pm on Friday and Saturday and 5pm on Sunday. For more information, please visit https://otterbrewery.com/The Holt Beer Festival 2026 7th-9th August 2026 - The Holt Exeter
