Rowcroft Hospice has unveiled its stunning new collection of Christmas cards, featuring bespoke illustrations of beloved South Devon scenes. The beautiful cards capture the charm and character of the local area – from snowy seaside towns to peaceful countryside views – celebrating the spirit of Christmas right here at home. Traditional festive favourites in a choice of themes are also available.

The cards can be purchased in Rowcroft’s shops across South Devon at just £2.95 and £3.95 per pack of 10, with all profits going directly to fund Rowcroft Hospice’s specialist care for local people living with life-limiting illnesses.

All of the cards are designed with the environment in mind. The card and paper come from FSC-certified companies (a mark of responsible forestry), inks are water- and vegetable-based, foil suppliers adhere to zero-landfill initiatives, and the cellophane bags are recyclable – meaning your festive greetings are as kind to the planet as they are to the community.

“We’re so proud of Rowcroft’s Christmas card collection this year,” said Caroline Wannell, Director of Retail at Rowcroft Hospice. “The local designs beautifully capture the magic of South Devon during the festive season, making these cards feel really special and rooted in our community.

“Buying a pack of Rowcroft Christmas cards is a small act that makes a big difference. Every card helps fund the expert care and support we provide to patients and families across South Devon – care that’s only possible thanks to the generosity of our community.”

Despite the vital difference that UK hospices make for their communities, many are under threat – with rising demand, soaring costs, and insufficient government funding. According to recent figures from Hospice UK, two in five hospices are planning cuts to essential services.

“Like many hospices across the UK, we’re facing increasing financial pressures, with rising costs and ever-increasing demand for our services,” added Caroline Wannell. “Every purchase, donation, and show of support this Christmas helps ensure we can continue to be there for local people when they need us most. Buying our Christmas cards isn’t just about sending festive wishes – it’s about sustaining compassionate care that makes a real difference to so many.”

For those looking for the perfect Christmas gifts, Rowcroft’s shops are brimming with affordable and sustainable options. Shoppers can discover unique preloved treasures, including stunning ladies’ and men’s fashion, exquisite accessories such as jewellery, bags, belts, hats and scarves, plus a wide range of books, DVDs, toys, children’s clothing and homeware.
