‘A special place to live’: Exeter development labelled huge success after all homes sold
A housebuilder is celebrating after all 265 homes in its Exeter development have sold.
Redrow South West’s Saxon Brook, on Blackmore Drive, launched in 2017 and has seen a new thriving community build over the past few years.
During its development, the housebuilder invested £1.9 million into the local community as part of the planning agreement to enhance the area, supporting improvements to transport, education and amenities.
Louise Ware, Sales Director at David Wilson Redrow South West, said: “We are delighted to have provided much-needed new homes in Exeter while contributing to the growth of the local community. Our Saxon Brook development has been a huge success, and our dedication to creating vibrant communities has really paid off.
“It’s easy to see why Saxon Brook was such a huge success, with its fantastic location and homes that offer a traditional exterior design with sleek modern interiors. The development is such a special place to live, and we are thrilled to have fulfilled what we set out to do.”
Redrow is continuing to build at the nearby development St Michael’s Meadow, including eco-electric homes that can save buyers more than 970* a year on their energy bills compared with a second home. Its fabric-first approach means energy efficiency is built into the very fabric of the homes through advanced insulation and efficient heating systems.
