Spanning 20 years of seismic change in 20th-cent. history, The MolinoGroup present a working draft of a new piece investigating the relationship between artists and conflict through the enigmatic persona of British surrealist and pacifist Roland Penrose, and his involvement with the British WW2 effort.
Join us as we transform the Bike Shed theatre into a 1930s Milk Bar and take a journey through the space charting several decades of innovation and decay. A collage of music, movement and installation, The Roland Piece addresses what art means in a world beset by crisis.
