Barchester’s Cumberland Grange care home in Exeter invited Monkerton Community Primary School over for an Easter Egg Hunt in the garden. Cumberland Grange is very lucky to have such a great sized garden, making it perfect for Easter Egg Hunts!

Staff and residents hid 80 colourful eggs around the garden for the reception children to find, and they found every single one! One of Cumberland Grange’s residents Maureen said how much of a privilege it was to be a part of such a lovely day. Maureen took on the task of handing out the Easter Eggs to the children at the end.

General Manager, Michele said: “Our residents love to feel a part of the community and so to be able to hold such a brilliant event with the local primary school is as Maureen says, a real privilege. It was fantastic to see our residents engaging with the children and helping them find the hidden eggs. Lots of smiles and laughter all round.”

"Our varied life enrichment programme keeps residents active, and provides a daily choice of engaging physical, mental and spiritual activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities.

"We’re making our homes as safe as possible and will ensure that all new residents and staff are vaccinated before moving in or working in our homes.  Please do give us a call on 01392 357 270 if you are looking for care or need any further help."
