The Pirates of Penzance at Exeter Northcott

Friday & Saturday, Northcott Theatre, Exeter

Exeter University Gilbert and Sullivan Society return to celebrate their 45th year with one of the most famous comic operas of all time, The Pirates of Penzance. 7.30pm both nights, matinee on Saturday at 2.30pm. Drive in Movies

Friday & Saturday, Westpoint Arena, Clyst St Mary

Winter Warmed: A Festival of Samuel Beckett

Adam Isaac returns to The Prospect Inn on Exeter Quay for an intimate evening of live music from 9pm.

1920s Valentines’ Ball ElectroSwing: RAMM and The Cavern Club

Friday, Royal Albert Memorial Museum and Cavern Club, Exeter

This ElectroSwing Night has a 1920s theme to compliment the exhibition Petal Power. Enjoy the exhibition and the beauty of the museum at night and take swing-dancing lessons. Nine-piece band Smerin’s Anti-Social Club will play as part of their album tour and DJs will play ElectroSwing music – a fusion of modern beats with jazz swing. The Passadena Roof Orchestra: Puttin’ on the Ritz!

Objects of Desire costume exhibition

This fashion exhibition will have some of the most luxurious vintage fashion and accessories from the 20th century and highlight the ultimate in designer and couture clothes. Printmaking and Animation

Extreme Imagination: A festival of writing for and by young people

Exetreme Imagination is a festival of writing for and by young people, as well as for older generations who wish to celebrate our young people's achievements and reminisce over their own childhood memories. Scouts charity jumble sale

Come and grab a bargain or two at this fantastic event for all the family. Lots of clothes, books, childrens toys and games, and bric-a-brac. There will also be refreshments available to buy, and delicious home-made cakes. 10am-2pm, entry is 20p for adults, children free.

Car boot sale

Topsham Community Market

The Topsham Community Market runs from 8.30am-1pm every Saturday. There is a good mix of food stalls, antiques, clothes, jewellery and craft stalls.
