Learn to Play for free at Musicroom Exeter
On Saturday 12th March, Musicroom Exeter will be celebrating national Learn to Play Day by opening its doors and offering free musical workshops.
The annual event, run by the Music for All charity, is supported by a number of famous faces including Gareth Malone, Al Murray and Nick Mason to name a few. The event aims to inspire people of all ages, whether they have played before or not, to pick up an instrument and learn a new skill!
Rupert Macdonald from the ‘Exeter Guitar School’ will be conducting guitar taster sessions. Or for anyone who has always wanted to learn the drums, local teacher and musician Will Beavis will be offering drum workshops. All sessions will be around 30 minutes long and will be held between 10:30am-4:30pm.
All participants will receive a 10% discount on sheet music and selected accessories on the day of the event only.
There are a limited number of places available on each lesson, so aspiring musicians are advised to book in advance by calling the store on 01392 436258, emailing exeter@musicroom.com or visiting Musicroom at 154 Sidwell Street, Exeter, Devon, EX4 6RT.
