Loft Live goes international

The Loft Live Sessions, which began earlier this year are fast becoming the most exclusive live music event in Devon.

Now held at Higher Eggbeer Farm, once voted the secon best venue in the U.K by ‘The Times’ newspaper, this unique monthly event is growing in popularity every month.

Having already played host to highly regarded bands such as ‘Hunter and The Bear’ and festival Favourites ‘Land of The Giants,’ The Loft Live sessions are set to hold their first ever Jazz night!

To kick off what organisers hope to be a quarterly jazz event, ‘The Loft live Sessions’ have booked internationally renowned musician Jason Rebello!

Classically trained Jason, was spotted by one of the founders of jazz fusion, ‘Wayne Shorter’ in the early 90’s. He was quickly signed to BMG records on a three album deal. After touring extensively with his own band, Jason was then invited to join none other than ‘Stings’ band.

It was through an introduction from Sting that Jason met guitar legend Jeff Beck! He worked with Beck on his 2010 album Emotion and Commotion and co-wrote the Grammy winning single Hammerhead.
Jason Rebello has since worked with the likes of Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins, Pee Wee Ellis, Joss Stone, Madeline Peyroux, Manu Katche and Charlene Soraia to name but a few.

Exeter based soul/jazz artist, Elliott Cole, formerly known as Leigh Coleman, has now been signed to LOA Records and is due to make a guest appearance with Jason. Also making a guest appearance with Jason, Jazz sensation Joy Rose, usually seen performing in London’s well respected Ronnie Scotts or The 606 Jazz Club Chelsea.
