Summer Film School Holiday Club
Overview:
Exeter film school will provide school kids aged 8 - 12 years old with the opportunity to work with highly skilled filmmakers in creating a professional short film. This is to be shown at a special premiere screening as well as being submitted to film festivals around the world.
The real aim is to give the kids a full-fat, fun, filmmaking experience...and a film they can be proud of.
How it will work:
Colourburn is a film production company with a strong track record of producing ambitious films and working with abled and disabled children. Colourburn will be in charge of compiling the film school course, producing the film, marketing as well as the premiere and submitting the film to UK and international festivals.
We will be looking at running the school over 5 days: 28th July - 01th August
from 9am - 5pm. We’ll be looking at signing up 30-40 kids and run the event
at Brampford Speke School; where the film will also be shot.
From our research we have identified a real need and a strong market for this, but we want to keep our prices low while still being able to raise enough budget to hire in talented professionals and collaborative partners. With this in mind we’d be looking at charging
£150 for the 5 days
