Winners of The European Blues Challenge 2013, exciting Italian duo Veronica and Max play country blues and ragtime, hokum, jug band and rural music from the 20's and 30's in their own unique style. Using ukulele, washboard, kazoo, guitars and mandolin, they sing and play with passion and humour, as they keep a precious musical heritage alive by faithfully reproducing its original sound, updated with a modern twist. Expect songs from Big Bill Broonzy, Memphis Minnie, Jimmie Rodgers, Sidney Bechet, Lucille Bogan, Bo Carter and the Delmore Brothers.
