Becky is a rebel without a cause; Jo is in it for laughs. Friends and feminist activists, they are clearly out of their depths. Jo’s brother Tommy has been accused of war crimes but old soldier Martin is having none of it.

This multimedia production is a heady mix of emotional conflict, heart-warming friendships and a challenging examination of issues very much of our times.

Inspired by Pussy Riot and exploring the theme of protest, the production incorporates physical theatre and dance. It is a multi-media performance that explores the relationship of two modern day suffragettes.

Pilot’s Thumb is currently the Flourish Company at the Barbican Theatre Plymouth and sponsored by the Arts Council.
