View planning APPlications on your smartphone

Residents can now view planning applications from their mobile phone – thanks to an addition to the East Devon App, a new service for residents launched at the end of last year.

This is just one of many benefits of downloading the App at: www.eastdevon.gov.uk/app.

The East Devon App enables people to access various council services on their smartphone, with both i-Phone and Android systems supported.

Here are some of the services that can be accessed:
• Complete 'Report It' forms to advise of fly-tipping, a missed collection or a dead animal
• View times of waste and recycling collections and sign up for weekly reminders
• Find useful places like recycling banks, car parks and public toilets
• Check local food hygiene ratings
• See local councillor contact details
• View council contact information
• Access council news stories
• Read council tweets
