August: Osage County
by Tracy Letts
Wed 5 – Sat 8 February 7.00pm

Beverley Weston is missing.

His drug-addled wife Violet attempts to come to terms with his disappearance, whilst his scattered children are forced to return to their childhood home. In the claustrophobic setting of a small Southern American town in Oklahoma, hard truths are revealed which push them all to breaking point.

August: Osage County is a dark comedy which expertly examines the intricate interactions of a dysfunctional American family. In the midst of illness, addiction and deceit, there are still unexpected moments of humour to be found.

Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama 2008, here is a play which pulls at the strings of what it is to love, to be loved and what happens when that love unravels.

Tickets: Wed and Thurs: £12 Fri and Sat: £14
Concessions: £8
Age: Recommended 16+ due to scenes of a sexual nature and some usage of obscene language
