As we approach the sixth month of the Coronavirus pandemic, the hottest topic on everybody’s lips is face masks. As face coverings are to be mandatory in shops from Friday 24th July in the UK, many are unsure on the impacts they will have to the skin. As the World Health Organisation (WHO) urges us to use face coverings to prevent the spread of COVID-19, this article finds out if face coverings can really cause spots and damage the skin. Exeter College International Baccalaureate (IB) students celebrate 100% pass rate

Exeter College students are celebrating after achieving a 100% pass rate in this year’s International Baccalaureate (IB) results.

This year over a third of students (34.3%) achieved 40+ points. This is the equivalent of five A Levels at A/A*, putting them in the top five to ten per cent of students in the entire world. One candidate, Julietta Harris, achieved an incredible 45 out of 45 possible points and will be heading to Oxford to study Law with European Law in September.

An Exeter College art graduate has been the inspiration behind one of lockdown’s more unique art trends.

Since the Government’s lockdown of the country in March, a number of artists have been looking for an outlet for their creative flair and have taken to recreating classic pieces of art from the comfort of their own home using photography.
