Regen SW welcomes today’s announcement by The Crown Estate that a number of new demonstration zones for the deployment of wave and tidal energy projects have been designated around the south west coast.

Passengers on commuter trains across England and Wales are set to benefit from radically improved mobile broadband access under new government plans.

Train stations across the country will benefit from improved cycling facilities thanks to £15 million of new government funding, Transport Minister Baroness Kramer announced today (4 July 2014) on the eve of the Tour de France coming to the UK.

A police community support officer has been praised by a father after he dramatically stopped a car, with a baby girl inside, from rolling down a hill in St Agnes.

PCSO Richard Hill (pictured) was parked nearby when he saw what he thought was an empty convertible rolling backwards down the slipway towards the beach at Trevaunance Cove.

Cornwall will benefit from a multi-million pound package of rail improvements that will lift the local economy, create new jobs and provide faster train journeys, the Prime Minister announced today (3 July).
