New independent research highlights the safest places for students in the SW

Parents and carers rightly worry about how safe their children will be when they go off to university but the team behind the trusted and independent Complete University Guide has delved into the publicly available data to help you and your new student feel prepared for the big move.

Looking at domestic burglary, robbery of personal property and violence with injury, it shows a really positive picture for the South West of England with Bath and North East Somerset (2nd) and Exeter (5th) sitting comfortably in the top 5 safest places while nearby Plymouth (15th) and Bristol (16th) are comfortably in the top half of the table.
