The billionaire owners of English Premier League club Bournemouth have agreed a deal for the club, subject to the membership’s approval at an extraordinary general meeting on May 7.

Exeter Chiefs Colts v Devonport Colts

Chiefs came into this match knowing what a strong outfit Devonport are, fully deserving their top spot in the shield competition. This would turn out to be a classic rugby match between the top two teams.

After ten minutes and following a breakdown at a Devonport scrum, Chiefs secured the ball and quickly moved it along the back line for Stefan...

City frustrated after suffering third consecutive defeat

Following Exeter’s home defeat to Dagenham & Redbridge, manager Paul Tisdale lamented what has been a frustrating week for the Grecians.

A third consecutive defeat has left City trying to secure a play-off place in the final four fixtures. The Daggers took an early lead through a Scott Doe header and the Grecians were never able to carve out the opportunities to overturn the scoreline, and Paul drew attention to the lack of cohesion on the field which was going to make getting a result difficult.

“It’s been a really bad week,” conceded Tis. “I’ve just stood in the...

The Chiefs - alongside Gloucester, Bath and London Wasps - occupy the four next-best berths outside of the play-off zone and Whitehead says the challenge over the final weeks of another highly competitive campaign is to ensure nothing is...
