Relaunched in April 2025 to strengthen the pathway for talented female footballers, the renewed collaboration has already delivered success on the pitch and supported players to progress into senior football and gain international honours.

Thirty-five players represented Exeter College’s Women’s Football Academy during the 2025/26 season...

Bournemouth too much for the Grecians

Match report: Exeter 0 Bournemouth 2

An unfortunate own goal by Scot Bennett, followed by a composed Dan Gosling finish saw the Cherries progress through to the second round of the league cup.

It was a fine evening that welcomed both sets of supporters to St James Park in the opening fixture in the Capital One cup. Paul Tisdale took to the pitch just before kick-off to officially accept the FA equality and fair play trophy for the previous season, as the Grecians lined up with the Big Bank behind them.

Paul Tisdale had made three changes to the side that drew with...

Match preview: Exeter City v AFC Bournemouth

City’s recent record in the Capital One Cup has rarely seen them get past the first round – that comes as little surprise though, considering the opposition that they faced since being back in the League.

Southampton, QPR (twice), Ipswich, Liverpool and Crystal Palace had been the six teams that have knocked out City since 2008 – taking the Tractorboys to extra-time was as close as City have got to causing an upset.

And now it is AFC Bournemouth that the Grecians face. In the past that prospect would have been a lot less daunting, but the sudden surge that the Cherries have...

Exeter City's thrilling opener

A thrilling afternoon of football saw the Grecians hold Portsmouth to a well-earned 1-1 draw at St James Park.

A goal from Tom Nichols saw the home side take the lead in the middle of the first half, but a Jed Wallace equaliser ensured that both sides shared the points in this exhilarating start to the 2014/15 campaign.

An electric atmosphere greeted the players as they took to the field, with both sets of supporters evidently anticipating the first competitive fixture of the season.

Due to a raft of injuries and illnesses, Paul Tisdale named himself as a sub in the...

The support that we enjoyed last season, particularly during our European and LV= Cup adventures was simply outstanding. For us, it's fantastic to see so many...

New role for Fijian powerhouse Naqelevuki

Exeter Chiefs head coach Rob Baxter will use pre-season as a chance to experiment a new role for imposing Fijian Sireli Naqelevuki.

Having been sidelined for much of last season with a troublesome knee complaint, Baxter is looking at switching the 33-year-old into the forwards this season to help utilise his considerable frame.

The former Stormers star - who is set to begin his fifth season at Sandy Park - initially arrived as a winger, making his debut in Exeter's maiden season in the Aviva Premiership in an away game at Northampton Saints.

Over time, however,...

Especially designed by JJC Design, the new logo marks South West Communications Group’s long-term sponsorship deal with the Aviva Premiership club.

Baxter welcomed his players back into their latest phase of pre-season on Monday having giving them all a week's rest following a physically demanding opening block of training.

Now with friendlies against Cardiff Blues, Ulster and Worcester Warriors looming large on the horizon, Exeter's leader has been overseeing the next phase which, he says, sees a step up in standards.
