YOUNG PROFESSIONALS TOAST THIRD BIRTHDAY

The Gilbert Stephens Young Professional’s Network raised a glass to celebrate the group’s 3rd birthday at Pebblebed Vineyards premises in Clyst St George, just outside Exeter.

Since its inception in 2010, the group has grown to over 170 members made up from a variety of businesses in Exeter and attendees enjoyed an evening of networking and wine tasting and a talk from Pebblebed’s owner, Geoff Bowen.

Devon Community Foundation’s Volunteer of the Year Awards took place on Thursday 10 November at the RAMM in Exeter. Celebrating the outstanding work of volunteers and groups across Devon, the winners included Farming Community Network, Scoot-A-Long, Moorvision, Vocal Advocacy, HMS Heroes, Devon Rape Crisis Service and Crossroads Care Torbay.

The Awards were presented by BBC Radio Devon’s David Fitzgerald who highlighted their partnership with Devon Community Foundation this year and their ‘Give a Gift’ appeal.

120 guests attended the opening night and exclusive awards ceremony of The Exeter Contemporary Open, now in its eighth year and held at the Exeter Phoenix.
