Radiance MediSpa hosted ‘A Radiant Christmas’ in aid of The Lady Taverners and Look Good Feel Better (LGFB) with complimentary taster sessions by therapists and stylists at their luxurious venue. BBC Radio Devon presenter Judi Spiers compered the evening with models showcasing the latest Steampunk clothing courtesy of Velveteen Clothes Emporium. Exeter singer songwriter Charlotte Ward is to perform at a concert in tribute to murdered soldier Lee Rigby. Over £8,000 has been raised for a trust fund for Lee Rigby's 2 year old son Jack and will be handed over to his trust fund at the event in Market Harborough, Leicestershire, next Saturday.

Charlotte was spotted by organiser Gary Gardner, one of the judges for the Open Mic UK competition: "He came to find me straight after my performance and asked me to play at the concert. It's such a privilege".

Devon Community Foundation celebrates its Volunteer of the Year Awards

Devon Community Foundation’s Volunteer of the Year Awards took place on Thursday 10 November at the RAMM in Exeter. Celebrating the outstanding work of volunteers and groups across Devon, the winners included Farming Community Network, Scoot-A-Long, Moorvision, Vocal Advocacy, HMS Heroes, Devon Rape Crisis Service and Crossroads Care Torbay.

Sapphire celebrates 1st Birthday with special guests Michael Caines and Naomi Cleaver

Sapphire Living Space, based in Topsham, celebrated their first Birthday last Friday evening with style and were joined by special guests Michael Caines and Naomi Cleaver and over 100 guests.

Celebrations included a live band, drinks and canapés, while Michael Caines did some food demonstrations and then signed copies of his new book.

120 guests attended the opening night and exclusive awards ceremony of The Exeter Contemporary Open, now in its eighth year and held at the Exeter Phoenix.

Sponsored by Chartered Accountants Haines Watts, the exhibition provides an important national platform for contemporary visual artists and is open to the public from 13 September – 2 November 2013.

Sapphire Living Space invited special guests to the launch of Wave, an art exhibition by Christine Allison.

The luxury kitchen and bathroom showroom often stages events in its amazing space, opposite Dart's Farm near Topsham.
