The weather didn’t dampen spirits at the Silverton Hunt Point to Point meeting at Blackforest Lodge on Sunday 12th January. Racegoers were treated to a dry start and some great racing ahead of the Charles Stanley Ladies Open race which was won by the favourite, Byerley Bear, ridden by Leanda Tickle. She brought him home to his third Ladies Open win in four weeks ahead of last year’s winners Mobaasher ridden by Lucy Gardner - a great result for owner Roger Knowles and Trainer Robert Chanin. King of Alcatraz ridden by Vicky Wade came in third.

Charles Stanley’s Exeter office entertained over 300 clients at the event, which they have supported for the past 17 years. With food and drink available all day in the marquee, even the driving rain which arrived later in the afternoon didn’t spoil the day.

“Charles Stanley is very pleased to maintain its support of this event, which has grown to be the biggest single event in our calendar” said Charlotte Lambeth, Investment Manager at Charles Stanley's exeter Office. “It makes a fantastic day out for families and is a lovely way of catching up with our clients in a more social environment. We look forward to next year!”
