Bicton hosts first joint event for Jubilee Federation

Students from Broadhembury and Branscombe primary school enjoyed a fun-filled activity day at Bicton College to celebrate the merging of the two schools. Bicton College is proud to be supporting the community organising a great day for over 70 pupils aged between 4 and 11 years, pupils participated in activities including High and Low Ropes, Rafting, Climbing, Archery, Canoeing, Orienteering and Shelter building. Alan Johnson, chair of governors at both primary schools and an academy head at Bicton College says ‘As the chair of governors for the newly formed Jubilee Federation it’s great to see the children from both schools working together and enjoying the facilities at Bicton, it’s a great place to work and for visiting groups to enjoy team building/outdoor activities.’
