Devon County Show Confirms 106,000 Visitors in Another Record-Breaking Year

The tickets have now been counted, and Devon County Show has officially confirmed an audited attendance of 106,000 visitors for 2026 — an uplift of 5,000 on last year’s record-breaking figure.

This year’s Show coincided with the late May half‑term break, a rare calendar alignment that contributed to an especially strong family turnout. While children go free on Saturday and therefore cannot be fully audited, the organisers witnessed a noticeably higher number of young visitors enjoying the attractions, activities and livestock displays.

A major new study will help to come up with new solutions for improving the health and wellbeing of women working in agriculture.

The research, by the University of Exeter’s Centre for Rural Policy Research and The Farming Community Network, will provide crucial insights into farming and gender-specific stressors that can affect women in agriculture, as well as barriers to accessing relevant support.

Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, creator and owner of the easy family of brands (see www.easyHistory.info ) is offering cash prizes totalling £300,000 to three young entrepreneurs in the UK for the second year.
