Team FORCE smash it at the 2026 Great West Run

Team FORCE has again pulled out all the stops at this year’s Great West Run.

Nearly 450 people ran either the half marathon or 10K around the streets of Exeter and beyond in Sunday’s sweltering heat to support FORCE Cancer Charity.

Between them they have raised more than £135,000 so far, which will support local people dealing with a cancer diagnosis.

Devon County Show has announced the addition of an irresistible feature to its 2025 lineup—its first-ever Alpaca Café!

The Mole Resort has announced a partnership with award winning TV show Moley.

The British animated television series, produced by Two Daughters Entertainment, features the voices of an all-star cast, including British actor Warwick Davis (Harry Potter, Star Wars), Gemma Arterton, Stanley Tucci, and Richard E. Grant.

Topsham’s Secret Gardens to welcome transatlantic visitors

Tickets are now on sale for one of Devon’s most popular events - and this time it’s even attracting visitors from the United States.

The Secret Gardens of Topsham event is held on alternate years and in 2025 will feature 15 special gardens across the town.

Normally the gardens are strictly private but for six hours from noon on Sunday June 8 they will be open to the public, with all funds raised going to Topsham Museum.

Professionals from the Exeter office of a leading property consultancy will be embarking on an epic fundraising relay to raise money for a life-saving Devon charity.

Guide dog puppies enjoy special training trip to Exeter Picturehouse as charity appeals for more volunteers

A group of 10 guide dog puppies have enjoyed a special visit to Exeter Picturehouse, as part of their important socialisation training.

The local pups from sight loss charity Guide Dogs visited the cinema on Tuesday 29 April.

They enjoyed watching The Penguin Lessons on the big screen, exploring the seating areas and visiting the cinema café.

Each pup was accompanied by their volunteer Puppy Raiser, who looks after them until they are just over a year old, before they will move to a Guide Dogs’ centre to start their formal training.
