Second stage announced for TK Maxx presents Live At Powderham

An exclusive second stage is being added to Devon’s biggest music event this summer – with a host of extra artists joining the line-up.

TK Maxx presents Live At Powderham takes place across the weekend Thursday June 25 to Sunday June 28 with headline shows from Teddy Swims , Alanis Morissette and Lewis Capaldi.

And now additional artists will take to the festival’s all-new Castle Green Stage , performing from 2.30pm each day as gates open as well as after each headline artist.

World-leading fungi research is being showcased in a fun and innovative way at a family fun event to mark UK Fungus Day.

Special University of Exeter courses to help people learn about Ukraine’s spectacular language and culture are being supported by teachers based in the war-torn country.

Trained opera singer Iryna Ilnytska has been leading courses in Ukrainian since the Russian invasion earlier this year to show support for her nation and to help people communicate with refugees who have made Britain their home.

HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) is reminding customers who need to complete a tax return for the 2021 to 2022 tax year to let HMRC know by 5 October 2022. They can do this by registering for Self Assessment.

Before customers can complete their first tax return, they need to register with HMRC to receive their Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR). Customers need their UTR to file a return. The tax return deadline for the 2021 to 2022 tax year is 31 October 2022 for those completed on paper forms, and 31 January 2023 for online returns

Residents and staff at RMBI Care Co. Home Cadogan Court, in Exeter, have recently welcomed the city’s Lord Mayor, Councillor Yolonda Henson. Accompanied by John Davies, Exeter’s Senior Mace Sergeant, the Mayor brought a book of condolences for everyone to sign and remember the late Queen Elizabeth II.

Stagecoach South West have announced today that following a comprehensive review of their network, from Sunday 30th October 2022 there will be a number of changes to bus timetables in the South West.

Changes mainly affect Exeter and outlying areas and North Devon. There are also a couple of minor changes in Plymouth and Torbay.
