Second stage announced for TK Maxx presents Live At Powderham

An exclusive second stage is being added to Devon’s biggest music event this summer – with a host of extra artists joining the line-up.

TK Maxx presents Live At Powderham takes place across the weekend Thursday June 25 to Sunday June 28 with headline shows from Teddy Swims , Alanis Morissette and Lewis Capaldi.

And now additional artists will take to the festival’s all-new Castle Green Stage , performing from 2.30pm each day as gates open as well as after each headline artist.

The University of Exeter has been honoured for innovative work to address barriers to progression to higher education.

Support to help thousands of children across the country realise their potential was honoured with a Silver Award for the ‘University of the Year’ at the sixth annual UK Social Mobility Awards.

The University of Exeter was shortlisted for the award thanks to initiatives such as Exeter Scholars, a free progression programme for pupils traditionally under-represented in higher education.

In collaboration with OHOB and Turntable, the University of Exeter has recycled and donated over 1000 duvets and pillows to children and adults in need across both Ukraine and Exeter, preventing the items being sent to landfill.

The Heart of the South West Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) has announced £500,000 of funding for development of a Tourism Data Hub working with the Great South West Tourism Partnership.

New barriers for bus station toilets

New barriers will be installed at Exeter bus station’s toilets after the original ones broke “pretty much straight away.”

Police investigating reports of rape on Monday 17 October in Exeter and Topsham are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
