Second stage announced for TK Maxx presents Live At Powderham

An exclusive second stage is being added to Devon’s biggest music event this summer – with a host of extra artists joining the line-up.

TK Maxx presents Live At Powderham takes place across the weekend Thursday June 25 to Sunday June 28 with headline shows from Teddy Swims , Alanis Morissette and Lewis Capaldi.

And now additional artists will take to the festival’s all-new Castle Green Stage , performing from 2.30pm each day as gates open as well as after each headline artist.

FOLLOWING two months of fewer trains – and reduced speeds – services on the West of England line return to normal between Salisbury and Exeter St Davids today.

Speed restrictions of 40mph had been in place near Tisbury, Gillingham and Axminster, as the clay-based track bed shrank in the record-breaking hot and dry summer, leaving the rails uneven and too bumpy for trains to run at full speed.

Stagecoach launch new bus service from Exeter to Cranbrook

Local bus operator Stagecoach South West have launched a brand new cross city connection in the form of Routes 4 and 4A. Buses connect Honiton Road Park and Ride with St David’s Station via Exeter City Centre up to every 10 minutes throughout the day, and onto Cranbrook up to every 20 minutes. Appeal after cyclist is seriously injured in Exeter collision

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a cyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a car in Exeter on Friday 11 November.

The incident happened in Longbrook Street at around 1.15pm.

It involved a white-coloured car and a male riding a grey pedal cycle.

The cyclist sustained serious injuries and was taken to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth where his condition remains critical.
