Bishop Fleming’s Exeter and Torquay offices are celebrating a successful year-long partnership with FORCE Cancer Charity, raising over £8,000 to support people affected by cancer across the region.

The collaboration formed part of the firm’s 1% for Communities initiative, launched in July 2024, which pledges to give back 1% of Bishop Fleming’s turnover through fundraising, volunteering, and community-focused projects.

Devon & Cornwall Police is set to share live real-time updates on hundreds of incidents this Friday as part of a 12-hour tweetathon of every contact received into the Force via 999 and 101.

The event will run from 3pm on Friday 7 July 2023 and will highlight the significant demand the Force faces on a daily basis, giving the public an idea of the variety and volume of calls for assistance received.

Marsh Barton station opens

Seven years after it should have welcomed passengers, Marsh Barton’s long-awaited new £16 million train station has been formally opened by the transport secretary.
