Loganair set to launch new service from Exeter

Loganair, the UK’s leading regional airline, is gearing up to launch a new route from Exeter to Manchester.

The new route is part of Loganair’s growing network from the airport adding to the existing seven services it offers from the base including Newcastle, Isle of Man and Edinburgh.

Starting on 26 October, the new service will introduce frequent flights between the two cities before moving to a daily service from March 2026.

Greggs opens new and improved shop in Exeter

Greggs has opened its new and improved shop today in Exeter, creating three new jobs for the area. Previously located at 28 Sidwell Street, the shop has relocated next door to a larger unit between 28-29 Sidwell Street.

On Sunday 24 September, World Rivers Day, a hand-crafted salmon called Samantha was carried by 6 relay running teams over 50 miles from Exmouth to Tarr Steps along the river Exe to celebrate the amazing Exe salmon and to highlight the challenges they face.

A trio of carers from Bluebird Care New Devon took on a gruelling hike to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society, raising over £1,000 for the important cause.

A leading housing association is set to build around 1,800 affordable homes in Devon over the next five years as part of a £1billion investment in the regional economy.
