The X Factor auditions are back on the road in search of the best and freshest vocal talent as it looks to uncover the nation’s next big singing star.

The UK’s favourite singing show will be visiting Plymouth on Tuesday 19th May with auditions at Plymouth Pavilions, Millbay Road, Plymouth PL1 3LF. Auditions will be from 11am to 5pm.

This is part of the show's biggest ever audition tour, which will visit an unprecedented 50 towns and cities across the length and breadth of the UK and Ireland, as this year we are bringing the auditions directly to you!

If you have ever thought about auditioning or sought to emulate the success of past contestants from the likes of last year’s winner Ben Haenow to One Direction, Little Mix, Olly Murs or Leona Lewis… now is your time!
The X Factor creator Simon Cowell added, ‘“The X Factor is coming back and, if you think you have the potential to be a world-class star, this is your chance to prove it. You really could be the next pop superstar.”’

Acts are advised to turn up early to the Mobile Auditions. On the Mobile Audition Tour we audition on a first come, first served basis, so be sure to turn up early to grab a slot.

All any budding hopefuls need to do is turn up on the date and time specified, whether they have registered in advance or not.  If they impress The X Factor team with their vocals, they will then be in with a chance of auditioning in front of the X Factor judges, when the judges’ auditions take place in summer.

The hit show, which this year won a National Television Award for Best Talent Show, has uncovered some outstanding talent across the years, including last year’s winner Ben Haenow, who has achieved a number 1 selling single in the UK and is now in the studio working on his debut album.

To date One Direction, have sold more than 50 million records worldwide, Olly Murs has achieved double platinum success, Little Mix have sold 1.3 million albums and Ella Henderson had the fastest selling UK female single debut of the year with Ghost.

The X Factor, sponsored by TalkTalk, returns to ITV and the Xtra Factor to ITV2 and itv.com later in the year. Fans of the show can follow all the action via @TheXFactor on Twitter and Facebook.com/TheXFactor
