Update: Police hold man in Murder case

Update: Police have arrested a 25 year old man on suspicion of murder.

The man is being held in Police custody and will be interviewed shortly

Police in Exeter have launched a murder investigation after a man died from severe injuries last night.

Police were called to a home on Alphington road after neighbours raised concerns for a man’s safety.

At the scene Police found a badly injured 43 year-old man who was rushed to Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.

The man later died of his injuries in the hospital.

Although details are still scarce Police have said that they are pursuing a number of leads into how the man died.

Police are appealing for information from the public and in particular anyone who was in the area between 6.00pm and 8.00pm last evening Thursday 21st November and saw anyone acting suspiciously.
