Taylor Wimpey proud to sponsor Topsham Town Fayre

Taylor Wimpey Exeter were pleased to sponsor Topsham Town Fayre, which took place on the 24th August 2022 at Matthews Hall in Topsham. 

The event boasted a varied programme including a quiz, a street fayre and a dog show, and it was a huge success, welcoming over 120 people at Matthews Hall to enjoy the various activities organised throughout the day. 

The Town Fayre has been running for decades, with the quiz being held annually for 35 years. Other events across the week-long event included bingo, coffee mornings, and a wine and cheese night, with the Charter-organised street fayre taking place on Saturday. 

Taylor Wimpey is building new homes at Apsham Grange, just a mile away from Matthews Hall, and donated £150 to the event, which helped to cover the overall running costs, including venue hire and food and drink for the attendees. 

Commenting on the support received from Taylor Wimpey, Veronica Coe, organiser at Topsham Town Fayre, said: “With last year’s event being such a success, we couldn’t wait to get this year’s show underway.

“Taylor Wimpey does a lot of exciting work in the local area and it was a great pleasure to receive such support from the housebuilding company.”

Richard Plant, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey Exeter said: “We were all too happy to make a donation to Topsham Town Fayre. It’s been a big part of the local community for many years, and it was great to see such a big turn out for the event.”
