The Royal Wedding is almost upon us and there is of course plenty of excitement right across the UK.

Kensington Palace recently announced Meghan Markle’s father will walk her down the aisle and as the final touches are being placed, here’s everything you need to know about the marriage of Prince Harry and Ms Markle.

When is the Royal Wedding?

The Royal Wedding is now just a few weeks away and will take place on May 19.

For those football fans, don’t worry the ceremony will take place at 12pm so there will be plenty of time to settle down for the FA Cup Final later in the day.

Where is the Royal Wedding being held?

There was a lot of talk about where the wedding would be held and they happy couple have settled on St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.

The chapel can hold around 800 guests and has been in existence since the 14th century.

The union of Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles was held here in 2005, while it will also be the Queen’s resting place.

Who is Prince Harry’s best man?

As you’d expect Prince Harry’s best man will be his older brother William. Fresh from becoming a father for the third time, Prince William said he was “honoured” to be asked to take the role, just as Harry was back in 2011.

How the day will look

There are a number of things everyone wants to know about the big day, from the cake maker to the dress.

All eyes will be on Meghan Markle’s dress, but it’s being kept a closely guarded secret as to what the bride will be wearing.

There are a number of contenders for the dressmaker with Ralph & Russo, Burberry and Erdem the hot favourites.

The cake will be made by Claire Ptak of Violet’s Bakery and will be a lemon and elderflower flavoured cake with a very spring-based theme.

Who will be at the Royal Wedding as guests?

The reception is also being discussed with the likes of the Spice Girls and Ed Sheeran rumoured to be performing.

A number of the members of the girl group have confirmed they are attending the wedding, but rumours are still circulating.

In fact, you can check these Royal Wedding betting offers and back Ed Sheeran to perform, with the bookies even getting in on the action.
