Red One Joins the Fire Industry Association

Red One Limited is pleased to announce that it has been accepted as a full member of the Fire Industry Association (FIA).

Red One Limited is a wholly owned trading company of Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service, providing complete fire and safety training, consultancy, industrial sub-contracting and fire equipment testing/commissioning services for business' in the UK and abroad.

The FIA is a not-for-profit trade association promoting the professional status of the UK fire safety industry.

Becoming a full member of the FIA enables Red One Limited to maintain a high awareness of potential legislative changes within the UK fire sector, which in turn enables them to develop and provide the most up-to-date fire and safety courses to their customers.

Commenting on the announcement, Chris Thain, Director of Business Development and Marketing at Red One said:

“We are very pleased to be able to join with the FIA in order to help develop, inform and educate people and businesses about fire safety and risk management. Together with other FIA members, we will work to further promote best practices in fire safety, guide our customers in UK fire legislation and enhance the skills and competence of those professionals engaged in the Fire, Rescue and Safety sector.”

Among Red One’s key areas of expertise are Fire Safety training, Fire Behaviour training, Fire Fighter training, Access and Rescue training and Maritime Fire Fighting training. Many courses are accredited by independent bodies such as City & Guilds, BTEC and the MCA.
