Police appeal after Exmouth theft

Police are appealing for the public’s help in trying to locate some distinctive items stolen from the Exmouth area.

Two rings and an ornament (pictured) were stolen during a burglary at a house in the St John’s Road area between Monday 29 June and Tuesday 7 July.

The items are described as a white gold ladies wedding ring with diamond cut effect, a ladies vintage Art Deco style gold band, and a wind-up ornament.

Detective Constable Matthew Burnell, Honiton CID said: “The stolen items are very distinctive and are of huge sentimental value to the owners.

“We would like any local second hand stores or jewellers to be particularly vigilant and contact us if they have any information about the whereabouts of these items”.
