Nurseplus Care at home Exeter to host a community Cream Tea Morning in support of FORCE Cancer Charity
Nurseplus Care at home Exeter is inviting the local community to join them for a very special Cream Tea Morning on Thursday, 18th September 2025, raising vital funds for FORCE Cancer Charity.
The event will be held from 10am onwards at the Nurseplus Exeter office (Ground Floor, Buckland House, Park 5 Business Centre, Exeter, EX2 7HU). Guests are warmly encouraged to drop in, enjoy a traditional Devon cream tea and take the opportunity to support a charity that provides free support, information and essential services to people affected by cancer across Devon.
As well as enjoying delicious cream teas, visitors will also have the chance to meet the Nurseplus Exeter team and find out more about the range of care services they provide – from a few hours of support a week to full-time, 24/7 live-in care. The team will be available throughout the morning to answer questions, share advice and chat about how they help people in Exeter live safely and independently at home.
A spokesperson for FORCE Cancer Charity said: “Cream Teas for Cancer is a great way to support FORCE Cancer Charity, whilst getting together to eat a yummy cream tea. This easy concept sees lots of companies coming together to order a cream tea for their team or some stretch the invite out to other businesses and clients, making it a thank you event.
We wanted to say thank you to Nurseplus Exeter for taking our Cream Teas for Cancer and making it into an event of their own to raise even more funds for FORCE Cancer Charity. We wouldn’t be able to support local people going through cancer if it wasn’t for events and ideas like this!”
Kate Derrick, Registered Manager at Nurseplus Care at home Exeter, added: “We are delighted to be hosting our Cream Tea Day in support of FORCE, a charity that makes such a difference to so many local people and families. This event is not only about raising funds but also about opening our doors to the Exeter community - whether you want to enjoy a cream tea, learn more about the care we provide, or simply come along for a chat, we’d love to welcome you.”
The event is free to attend, offering not just an opportunity to raise money but also a space for people to come together, connect and enjoy a relaxed morning in support of a cause close to the hearts of many in Exeter.
