New event: An Evening with Sarah Turner

To celebrate the publication of her new book Stepping Up, Sarah Turner will be hosting an event at Positive Light Projects in Exeter on Saturday 2nd July. Organised by InExeter and The Bookery, expect honest insights, hilarious anecdotes, and plenty of emotional moments at this intimate gig.

Stepping Up is the debut novel by Sarah Turner, known for her blog The Unmumsy Mum and her best-selling non-fiction books, The Unmumsy Mum, The Unmumsy Mum Diary and The Unmumsy Mum A-Z.

Stepping Up is Sarah's first novel which is both hilarious and heartwarming. The main character Beth is drifting through life with no responsibilities until a family tragedy forces her to become guardian to her teenage niece and toddler nephew. Follow Beth’s journey as her world is turned upside down, she is determined that this time she's not giving up – instead, it's time to step up.

Doors open at 6:30pm, allowing an hour for drinks, nibbles, and mingling. At 7:30pm Sarah takes to the stage for a no holds barred interview led by friend and colleague Tom McLaughlin. At around 8.30pm take advantage of the opportunity to quiz Sarah on all things Unmumsy. Finally, grab your shiny new copy of Sarah's novel and have it signed by the woman herself.
