Beautiful Betty has been searching for a new home through Blue Cross for over 200 days. This Christmas, the charity is appealing to the public to help find this friendly cat a new purr-fect home.

Betty was admitted to Blue Cross Devon in May and has been patiently waiting for a loving home ever since. The five-year-old Tortoiseshell cat is described as a sweet girl that would love to live in a quiet home. She is sociable around people and loves brushing herself against legs for fuss and attention.

Annaliese Langworthy, Centre Manager of Blue Cross in Devon, said: Betty is such a sweet and affectionate cat. She would thrive in a home with plenty of outdoor space, as she loves to explore, and she would also be happiest as the only pet in the household. She’s been with us for over seven months now, and we’d love nothing more than to see her find a new loving home.”

Support is needed to help pets, like Betty, this Christmas. People can support Blue Cross by donating £10, £20 or £30, helping rehoming and veterinary teams provide support to pets in need. For more information, please visit:bluecross.org.uk/christmasappeal.
