Grecians call on all Santas to dash to St James' Park

There is no rest for Santa even when Christmas has gone, as Exeter City FC are calling on all those Santas who want to get a little post-feast exercise to join in with the club's Charity Santa Dash on 29 December.

The event takes place at the Guildhall at 1.15pm on Saturday 29 December and finishes at St James’ Park ahead of kick-off in the home game against Barnet and for just £17 an adult and  £5 per child (up to age 18) participants will receive a Santa suit and a match ticket for the game that afternoon.
"Last year we had 310 Santas running and this year we are hoping to have 500 people and raise in excess of £10,000 for local charities," says David Evans, the club's Youth Commercial Manager.
"It always makes for a really good afternoon at St James' Park and Exeter City supporters - and the visiting fans  - really enjoy the unique atmosphere at the game with hundreds of spectators wearing their Santa suits, and of course, raising funds for the charity closest to their hearts."

There are great prizes for the three Santa Dashers who raise the most sponsorship money:
1st place: Be a Director for the day
2nd place: Hospitality for two
3rd place: Signed Exeter City shirt

Runners can also upgrade to the Santa Dash VIP Package, which includes: a Santa suit; VIP stadium entrance; a seat in the Flybe Stand; a pre-match meal in the Hospitality Lounge; viewing the post-match man of the match awards and photo opportunities with players (on request) for just £35 per adult and £15 per child.

This year, all sponsorship raised will be split with the club's Football in the Community Charitable Trust and the charity of each runners' choice.
