Fever announces 80s day disco

Exeter will be stepping back in time next month when the 80s Day Disco hits Fever on Saturday 16 August 2025.

Running from 3pm to 8pm, the five-hour daytime party promises a soundtrack packed with some of the biggest hits of the decade – from Michael Jackson and Madonna to Queen, Prince, and more. 

Organisers say the event is perfect for anyone who grew up in the 80s or simply loves the music and style of the era. Guests can expect a feel-good, neon-lit atmosphere designed for dancing, celebrating, and reliving the sounds of disco, pop, rock, and synth anthems that defined a generation.

Highlights include: • A non-stop mix of 80s classics • Retro-themed lighting and décor • A friendly, upbeat vibe for groups and solo dancers alike The party takes place at Fever, 54 Mary Arches Street, Exeter. 

Final release tickets are now on sale at £20, or £18 each for groups of 10 or more, available through Fatsoma.Last entry is 5pm, and the event is strictly 18+ with photo ID required.

From synth-pop and glam rock to power ballads and dancefloor favourites, organisers are encouraging guests to dress in their best 80s outfits and make it a day to remember.
