With over 1,200 runners already signed up, this year’s Children’s Hospice South West Rainbow Run at Exeter Racecourse on June 11 is going to be the biggest ever!

This fun run has become a must on the event calendar, and is especially important in the charity’s 25th Anniversary year.   Jayne Jarrett, Events Fundraiser for the charity said: ‘It’s amazing to have so much support this year. With the age limit lowered so that anyone aged 5 and over can take part - plus a whole host of entertainment from steel bands to Star Wars Storm Troopers - it really is a fun day for everyone.’

Rainbow Run is a 5km run where participants get showered in different coloured powder paint as they pass through paint stations along the route. Participants can run, jog or walk the route around the racecourse – with the emphasis being on fun! Over 1200 people have already signed up to take part (the biggest ever number for the Exeter run) and, as there are limited places now available, the team at CHSW is encouraging people to sign up fast.

It’s advisable not to wear your Sunday best, and white T-shirts and sunglasses will be available to buy on the day. To take part in the event, simply register via www.chsw.org.uk/rainbowexeter

Registration costs just £15 for adults and £10 for children aged 5 – 15, plus a family of four can register for £40. And your support will help the charity to continue its support for life-limited children and their families across Devon.
