A new Functional Health Screening clinic will be launching in Exeter on 29th April at the Innovation Centre, Exeter, from 6-7:30pm.

Functional Health and Integrated Medicine are rapidly growing fields of healthcare, which focus on the person as a whole not the isolated symptoms.

Dr. Rajendra Sharma-a leading practitioner in these fields of medicine will host the launch. Lisa Portman and Terri Bainbridge, the founders of pioneering health-screening company, Thermalogica, will also be hosting.

Functional Health Screening (FHS) provides tests and investigations to help optimise health and direct and support therapeutic programs for all health conditions, particularly those less responsive to conventional medicine.

Dr Sharma explains:
“FHS aims at both detecting problems early and if a condition is in place using holistic medicine to deal with the underlying cause. Our treatment plans focus on a person as a whole and not on isolated symptoms.”

This revolutionary clinic looks into growing evidence that lifestyle changes, the use of organic foods, supplements, herbal extracts and other natural therapies can improve health. The ultimate aim is to reduce the need for reliance on traditional medication.

At the end of this month, Functional Health Screening (FHS) will launch, and will be based at Holmedale Health in Denmark Road, St Leonard’s, Exeter.
