Topsham’s music scene rallies for Devon Air Ambulance in Bond-themed fundraiser
Devon Air Ambulance’s Topsham Vintage & Variety Store Manager, Lee Rawlings, is turning up the volume on community spirit this October as he calls on local musicians and generous businesses to support a dazzling fundraising event: A Night with Bond.
Taking place on Friday 3 October 2025 at 7:30pm at the Exeter FC Centre Sports Bar, this themed evening promises a stylish celebration of music and philanthropy. Guests will be treated to over 20 re-imagined Bond-inspired songs, performed live by a talented ensemble of 30 local musicians who have donated their time and talent for the cause. With a “dress to impress” invitation, the night is set to be a glamorous affair in true 007 style.
Tickets are just £10, with all proceeds going directly to support the lifesaving work of Devon Air Ambulance.
Lee commented, ‘This event is a brilliant example of how local creativity and kindness can come together to make a real difference, as Manager of our Topsham Vintage and Variety charity shop, I know first-hand how important fundraising for DAA’s service to run is. We’re thrilled to see the community backing this event and look forward to a night of unforgettable entertainment. This is of course only made possible by the generous donations of our community members, from Exeter FC for the venue, TAZMA studios who donated a great rehearsal space, the fantastic musicians and all of those who have donated raffle prizes.’
