Exeter Bridge Club Open Day

Exeter Bridge Club is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a free Open Day on Saturday 13th September 2025, and everyone - from complete beginners to experienced players - is invited to come along.

Whether you’re a lifelong bridge player, a lapsed fan, or just curious about the game, the event promises something for everyone:
   •    Mini-bridge taster sessions for complete beginners
   •    Casual games and a Bridge Quiz with prizes
   •    Play against the computer using bridge software
   •    A live demo of our card dealing machine in action
   •    Informative displays, refreshments, and a free prize draw

It’s a fantastic chance to meet club members, discover how bridge keeps the brain sharp and social connections strong, and to find out about beginner lessons and playing opportunities.

“Bridge is the world’s most popular card game - it’s sociable, fun and stimulating” said Ian Yule, event organiser. “This open day is all about getting more people - from absolute beginner level upwards -  to play this wonderful game, and telling them about our teaching programme and playing sessions.”
