Local radio and TV personality Judi Spiers has set off with her long term pal, Gus Honeybun to visit as many coffee mornings as they can in September.

Supported by Mercedes Benz of Exeter, who are sponsoring the campaign and who have kindly lent Judi a Cabriolet in which she can zip about the lanes of Devon, the pair will be visiting workplaces, homes and village halls to enjoy some home baking, strong coffee and to give thanks to the lovely people in our community who are raising money for local hospice charity, Hospiscare.

Judi Spiers said: “Hospiscare is a charity close to my heart. I would like people to see that hospices are not places to be feared. At difficult times of life they offer warmth, comfort and support. I always like to say that hospices allow people to not only die, but to live with dignity.”

It’s not too late if you would like Judi & Gus to visit to your coffee morning, but you need to call today so we can try to squeeze in a visit. To get your pack call Becky or Alice on 01392 688020, email fundraising@hospiscare.co.uk  or download a pack at www.putthekettleon.org.uk
