Charity pamper evening needs your help

Exeter Axhayes adoption centre are hoping to hold a charity pamper evening on Friday 17th October 2014 between 7 pm and 10 pm at the Cat & Fiddle pub on Sidmouth Road.

The organisers are looking for beauticians, nail technicians, beauty therapists etc who would be willing to help the cats and kittens in their care by donating small quick treatments.

Spokesperson for the adoption centre, Ric Brown, said " This is the first time that the centre has organised such an event and its hoped to be a fun filled event where guests can spend the night being pampered by giving a small donation to the centre. It is hoped that local businesses etc will be able to donate their services in return for guests paying a small donation to the centre. But we do need people to donate their services." Axhayes adoption centre is located just off the Sidmouth Road, opposite the Exeter City FC training ground. It is open 7 days a week from 11 am to 3 pm. They currently have approx 160 cats and kittens awaiting new homes. The centre is funded entirely by donations and it is hope that this event will help raise much needed funds.
