Expanding independent tailoring specialists Zebel Bespoke, have relocated from Fore Street, Exeter to the heart of the city.  The three-storey premises based on Waterbeer Street, formerly home to the Yankee Candle Shoppe, has had a major internal and external fit-out using local contractors with a significant investment of £35,000.

At street level is  an extensive range of ready to wear clothing including menswear brands such as Marc Darcy, Skopes, and Torre, to name but a few.  Upstairs you’ll find a lavish 1930’s Art Deco-style private studio where, in the ‘spirit’ of this iconic and decadent era you can relax and enjoy a tipple from the stylish bar.   Highly skilled crafts people and tailoring specialists will offer a personal service to create that perfect custom suit, for both men and women.  The top floor is a ‘cut above the rest’ housing a new funky and stylish barber’s shop, brought to you by ‘The Den’ barbering in Glorious Art House with both pre-bookings and walk-ins welcome.

Exeter businessman Keyvan Nosrati established Zebel Bespoke in 2015 having gained valuable retail experience with Moss Bros before setting up his own tailoring business in Queen Street.  As the business grew Zebel made a move to the trendy boutique area of Fore Street.  In addition to Exeter, Keyvan also owns a luxury studio in trendy Soho, London.  Both showrooms offer a great selection of premium quality suits; jackets; shirts; coats; stylish shoes and the all essential accessories to complete the look, for both men and women.

Keyvan Nosrati – CEO Zebel Bespoke said: “We offer a luxurious collection of suits at an affordable price as well as a range of ‘off the peg’ everyday essentials, and high-quality wedding suits for men.  The core of the business is our made to measure range, it’s the new standard of modern tailoring.  I feel it’s important that every man and woman should have the opportunity to own custom built suits made from luxurious fabrics that fit perfectly, which in turn gives them more confidence.”

High-quality fabrics are sourced from all over the World including Europe and one of Zebel’s main suppliers is the highly acclaimed Exeter-based British textile merchant, Lear Brown and Dunsford located on Marsh Barton Estate.  The prestigious UK manufacturer is the parent company of esteemed cloth-making legends such as Harrisons of Edinburgh, amongst many others, and have been producing high-end textiles since the 18th century.

Keyvan concludes: “The expansion of the business and relocating to the heart of the city in the Guildhall Shopping Centre is very rewarding.  It’s the start of an exciting new era for us and will make us more visible and accessible, and I believe there is nothing else like it in Devon or across the region. What raises Zebel Bespoke above the bar however, is that we have a private retro-style studio where customers can relax and enjoy a 1:1 service by our personal tailoring experts, plus a fantastic new barbering and waxing studio on the upper floors.”
