Summer set to start with a flumin’ good bang!

Get ready to ‘ooh’ and ‘ahhh’ on Goodrington Sands this May Day Bank Holiday weekend as Splashdown Quaywest open its doors for the summer with an Opening Weekend Firework Extravaganza, free for visitors and residents alike.

As darkness falls on Saturday 2nd May, watch in awe as Splashdown’s annual Firework show returns for its 2nd year. From 9.15pm, enjoy a stunning show full of spectacular colours and a truly wonderful display managed by renowned firework technicians Firemagic UK.

Visitors can watch the Fireworks from Youngs Park and the beach at Goodrington Sands, and for those feeling hungry – enjoy a bite to eat at The View at Goodrington with music from local favourites, Duke Johnson and the Scorchers, live on the terrace from 7.30pm.

Brilliantly combining 8 fantastic flume rides and some of the English Riviera's most spectacular views; Splashdown Quaywest opens its flumes for the season on Friday 1st May. Whereas the evening’s fireworks are a FREE event, throughout the weekend the waterpark’s normal admission charges will be in operation.
