1.Get a guide

Maybe you are a tourist or perhaps you have moved to Bangkok and are now going out to party for the first time while there. One of the best things that you should start by doing is getting a guide. Now, this can go one of two ways. For one, you can make a friend who is a local, for instance, if he or she is your neighbor and go out partying with them. This way, they can take to you the best joints, show you what to wear, what to drink, and you will not end up getting lost in the new city,.alternatively, you can get a visual guide such as a book or visit a website which will shed some more light on Bangkok Nightlife. This will help you to be adequately prepared for what to expect and identify the best places that you can go to have fun.

2.Do your research

Now, you may have gotten a guide or identified some of the places that you want to go to, but it does not stop there. It is imperative to do some more research on the culture of the people. As the adage goes, 'When in Rome, do as the Romans do'. Therefore, have a conversation with some of the locals and have a feel of how their nightlife is like. Understand how to say phrases such as cheers in the local language, and the acceptable social convention when it comes to issues such as paying the bill. This will help you to have a wonderful night and enable you to make some friends in the city.

3.Have enough cash with you

It can be hard to estimate how much drinks are likely to cost when going for a night out, and whether or not there are extra fees for tourists at the club or restaurants. To be on the safe side, therefore, ensure that you have carried enough cash with you before leaving the house. The last thing that you want to do while out partying is to run out of cash and be stranded at a pub somewhere. Having enough money will also help you get home safely, as you will be able to hail a taxi since it is not recommended to drive after a long night of partying.

4.Stay safe

If you can, try and go out partying with a friend. This way, you can both watch each other’s drinks when you are out on the dance floor, for instance. Ensure that you go out partying to a safe neighborhood, one where even if you leave late into the night you will not have any qualms about getting home. Avoid trouble at the club as well, do not participate in meaningless fights.

5.Be responsible

Ensure that you treat everybody that you encounter with respect, be it the taxi driver, the guard at the club, or the waitress. Remember that you are in a new city, and are not very familiar with their laws and customs. Therefore, try and be at your best behavior, and as always, do not drink and drive.
