Taking Shape, a formally Australian and New Zealand based company which offers colourful styles for ladies in sizes 14-26, has opened a brand new store in Exeter today.

To mark the occasion the store offered its new customers free fizz and cake.

Area Manager Rachel Paterson believes Taking Shape will offer something truly unique to the people of Exeter. She said:

“A lot of the clothing options out there for curvy ladies are plain black and boring. One of the biggest pieces of feedback we have is how much colour we have and the feminine and beautiful options we offer. Our customers walk out feeling amazing.”

And it would appear the people of Exeter are embracing the new store already. Rachel added:

“Customers that have already been in this morning have said they have not seen anything like this before.”

Taking Shape, which has opened a staggering 15 stores in just three months, expressed their delight at being a new addition to Exeter high street.

“We are just so excited. This is store number 15 in three months for The UK and the site that we have picked on the busy corner with all the glass corners means you just can’t miss us. The enthusiasm and so on that we have felt in the few days of setting up and the customers we have had this morning, we are just so happy to be here.”

As well as offering cake emblazoned with the Taking Shape logo the store are also offering 25% off full price items until Sunday 1st December.

For those of you who missed Taking Shape’s opening, the store will be offering another celebration on Saturday 23rd November, where as well as being able to see what the store has to offer you can taste some delicious cupcakes.
